ICE to Deport 70 Cambodians This December

The U.S. and Cambodian governments have confirmed that more than 70 Cambodians are set to be deported from the U.S. this December. Many of these Cambodians were children when brought into the U.S. and suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder due to experiences under the Khmer Rouge regime. These people were reported having difficulty adjusting to normal lives in the U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has reported that another batch of 200 Cambodians are set to be deported in 2018. In total, ICE mentioned that more than 1,900 Cambodians are to be deported from the U.S. back to Cambodia and 1,412 of these Cambodians have criminal convictions.
